He wasn't doing great at first because he had his winter coat on. He started blowing coat the beginning of February though. The main problem was that I was still taking him for longer walks, so he would need water again immediately when we came inside, and to go out again half an hour later. I shortened the walks so he was just out to pee until he blew coat and now I'm working his walks longer and longer without overdoing it for him. He seems to be taking the heat fine now, just like during summer in Ottawa. He still prefers being inside where the air conditioner is though.
I know, I'm guaging his walks based on how much water he needs when we get back in. Taking him for longer walks during the morning and later at night, and shorter ones during the heat of the day.

Be care full with taking him for "longer walks", because he will follow you till his heat explodes if he has to.
