I'm not opposed to donating to things, if they're good causes and I have money at the time. I do, however, like to know what I'm donating to... so explanations would definitely be needed.

Yeah, I guess I'm just trying to get a sense of whether there are enough people who are interested for it to be worth writing something up -- I was not really expecting anyone to check the first option.
