LJ is moving everything to Russia. Perhaps more importantly, it is planning changes that will effect the appearance of Friends Pages -- they will be on infinite scroll and will not show up on users screens in the users' selected formats.

Yay! What a good idea.

Actually - S2C has pointed out that it will take forever to load, so perhaps not such a good idea... even though it would save me missing posts that get caught between pages.

I've never had a problem with missing posts, If anything, I'd always get the last one on the page appearing again at the top of the previous page. However, I'll bet that LJ's plan to have FLs come up in plain white background is intended to not crash people's computers while loading the infinite scrolling. I know that's what happens to a fair number of people when they try to go on tumblr and twitter.
