I was expecting The Speed of Dark to be another science fiction book of hers so that came as quite a shock. Very well written though that wasn't really a surprise. I like her books. :)
I think Bloody Bones (#5) was about where it started. The first 3 or 4 were very tame.
the first few LKH books had very little sex, but trust me, by the 5th or 6th you will mourn the loss of plot. However, she personally apologized for the sex overkill (the 6 or 7th one I think it is has almost 400 pages of basically nothing but sex in it) and went back to writing decent mystery novels with lots of sex in them.
Obviously you're WAY into vampire books. Have you read the Twilight trilogy? I'm terribly into it right now and trying to speed through book four. That said, I'm incredibly sad it's almost over and I'm eager to try another series/saga/whatever. I've never watched any shows about vampires, not even Buffy, so I'm open to anything. Any suggestions?
Oh, and did you hear about that new HBO show: Trueblood? Apparently it started last night. I rented the premiere from Blockbuster (it was a free rental to get people into the show I guess). I haven't watched it yet, but if I like it well enough, I may just have to add HBO to my cable! Do you watch any other vampire shows? I'm just really intrigued right now so I figured I'd feed the fire a bit!
