Previous story:
Back in Your Arms Again Alan awoke from a pleasant dream of warm beaches, warm sands, and a warm body. He was confused about what woke him until he heard it again: a soft tap-tapping sound at the door. He froze, heart starting to speed up with alarm. Then he remembered. Traci. He sighed in relief. Robert was curled up against his back, arm thrown across his middle, and Alan was surprised that he hadn't been bothered by the noise. Must've worn him out last night, Alan thought with a grin.
The door opened a crack and Traci whispered Alan's name before peering into the room, the risen sun casting long shadows from where it peeked in through slats in the blinds. Alan waved her over and she approached cautiously and quietly, as if in some sacred room. She saw that Robert was still sleeping and knew how he felt about his privacy, so she wanted to speak to Alan quickly.
"Sorry, we're not into threesomes," Alan said before Traci could open her mouth.
She wrinkled her nose. "I'll keep that in mind next time I get the urge. What about breakfast? It's almost ready."
"What time is it?" He wasn't able to turn around to see the clock.
"Almost 10. I 'spected you'd be up 'for now."
Alan felt Robert's feet bump against his as the man slowly started to wake. "Traci wanted to know if you are interested in a threesome," Alan said, turning slightly so he could catch Robert's reaction.
Startled brown eyes looked at Alan and Traci laughed. "I believe the word I used was breakfast."
Robert gave Traci a polite smile and pulled the blanket up to his shoulders, aware that they were completely nude under the covers.
"We'll be out in a few minutes," Alan said, noticing how uncomfortable Robert was getting.
"Wow, not trying to talk me into delivering breakfast in bed?"
"If you're offering..."
"Nice try," she said, heading towards the door.
Once she was gone, Robert groaned and buried his head against Alan's shoulder. "Not a favorite way of mine to wake up," he mumbled.
"The threesome or Traci?"
Alan felt Robert kick him.
"Not like she is going to grab the sheets and give them a tug."
Robert dressed quickly, just in case Traci decided to pay them another visit. They exited the bedroom to the smell of bacon, eggs, and waffles.
"Bacon?" Alan questioned after he surveyed the food.
"You may not like it, but I like having bacon in the morning."
"I sense a meat metaphor," Alan said, then had to dodge a spatula that was swung at him while Robert smiled and stole a piece of bacon. His smile disappeared when Traci turned to point her new weapon at him, and he obediently went to have a seat at the table.
Alan joined Robert.
After Traci served breakfast and sat down across from the guys, she interlaced her fingers and rested her chin upon them. "I always did call me brother a vampire," she smirked at Robert.
Robert slowly lowered his fork back to his plate. "What?"
Traci bit her lip and made a vague gesture towards the side of her neck.
Robert felt for the bruise with his fingers. "Alan!"
"You weren't complaining last night." He hid his smile behind his juice glass as Robert colored.
Traci cleared her throat. "What is on our agenda today?
Robert wiped his mouth off on his napkin as he thought. "Well, there are a thousand things to do, but this morning we could go to Central Park, or the Met. If you are up to MOMA, that is nearby as well. Or we can just window shop at Macy's."
Tracy took the last bite of her scrambled egg and contemplated what she wanted to do. "How bout we just have a wander ‘round? Maybe duck into a museum if we get cold?"
Alan took the last bite of toast and drank his juice. "Great, I'll get ready." He leaned over and kissed Robert on the side of his neck and grazed his fingers across one of the red marks he left last night.
"I'll join you in a few." Robert worked to quickly finish his breakfast.
"No, you don't." Traci chimed in and Robert gave her a confused look. "I would like get out sometime soon, not in a couple hours."
Robert's face blushed and the tips of his ears turned bright red. "I wasn't going to--"
"But me brother is a different story."
Robert smiled and nodded his agreement as he slowly chewed his food.
