It sure is! Just take a look at the shows I watch and their status for next season:

Castle - renewed
Chuck - renewed
Community - renewed
Fringe - renewed
Game of Thrones - renewed
Supernatural - renewed
Vampire Diaries - renewed

I think you get my point - if this isn't a sign of impending doom, what is?! :O

As for the picked up new shows, haven't had time

Lucky you, about half the shows I watched were canceled. Though the ones I'm still really invested in were all renewed.

I'm way behind on Game of Thrones, only watched the pilot so far, but I really liked that one, so I'll watch it all as soon as the season's over. That's the only way to watch HBO dramas.
