I totally didn't know (or I forgot) that only paid accounts can create polls. Fair enough, but to make this a valuable investment, today you'll not only get one, not two, but no less than three polls in one entry! So, vote away!

BUT if you do try them out, beware of the first season of Parks & Rec. I already liked the show back then, but I know a lot of people who say it didn't get good before Season 2. I'd recommend to just streamline the six episodes of Season 1 and treat them like a two-hours-pilot.
As for Modern Family and Raising Hope, no BUT here, they pretty much knocked it out of the park.
BUT if I might add one show, watch Better Off Ted. It's already canceled, but still the closest sitcom to Arrested Development and Community you can get.
Also, Californication? Really?
As for USA shows, they are pretty much all interchangeable and have the same ingredients, it's impressive how almost every single show is an instant hit (it's the procedural equivalent to Showtime's "women with secrets"-formula). I gave up on all the shows you mentioned a few episodes in, they just bored me. Just checked and right now I'm only watching Royal Pains and that's only for all the pretty in it.

And Better of Ted has been on my list for quite some time, think I should finally get to it. (I liked the lead actor on The Inside, even if he had the boring conscience-role)
Californication? Really?
Yeah, I know. The thing is, between the over-the-top sex and drug jokes, they handle the more serious stuff surprisingly well. And, from time to time, sex and drug jokes can be funny, too. That said, probably wouldn't still watch it if it weren't for Duchovny.

Also, I might ship Veronica with Casey from Chuck. They'd grunt at each other all day long.

Veronica and Casey would be hilarious. None of that awkward small chat, they'd just get right to it and then go Komodo Dragon hunting.
