So I was gonna write about working at the restaurant. It is pretty much what I expected. And now my clothes smell like spices

Ouch to it all. I'd suggest getting that thumb x-rayed (since I know exactly how bad a thumb injury can be)

just saying. if nothing else you might need to get a brace to let the tendons and ligaments heal as they are slow to do so in a thumb

It is not quite in working order yet. It's still stiff but the swelling has definitely gone down.

It was very busy. And too busy. I wound up quitting the restaurant as it was stressing me out, thinking about working there.

It's good to know your limits for energy output and remove things that add stress to your life. You'll find something more suitable!

It was suggested I start weaving again. Must get the weft threads for the loom.
