So is all of Ohio just a giant pit of people who should never own a pet? 600 dogs in one month?

Akron is a haul from here.

Yeah, it shows it being 7.5 hours from here so I figured it was a ways for you, too. Still, ALL THOSE SCHNAUZERS.

It's 3.5 from me

That's a lot of Schnauzers. I was bad mouthing yours on Jana's blog (the one time they didn't bark was the time the meter reader was out there and I was streaking thru thehouse because I forgot something I needed in the shower)

There's definitely some shire in him, he looks *exactly* the way my Dad described old Dolly from the farm when he was growing up. And... aren't perch's usually chestnut?

YES ADOPT THEM ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

My ex-horse ranch manager friend says he's not a Shire and not a Percheron (every Perch I've seen is black or grey!), but she doesn't know what the horse is. She's sure he's a crossbreed though, because of the way he moves.

Cannot adopt 56 Schnauzers, no matter how much I want to...can't even get Mom to agree to adopting one. *sob*

Could be a bit of Irish draught in there, they are one of the more heavily crossed breeds (at least in this part of the world) but they don't typically have feathers. *shrugs*

Doooooo ittttttt... dooooooooooo itttttttttttt... *enables*

Yeah, Percherons don't have feathers either, well, not to that extent. And they're generally not bay...

They are not allowing any adoption out-of-state so there goes my plans for the weekend of driving up there...7.5 hours one way to look at doggies. ah, well. Another Schnauzer will show up who needs me.
