I have been trapped in a study lounge for 4 hours. I am just half way done too. It's been a really hectic day. I have 2 quizzes tomorrow, a paper next week and a lab to do. And tons of reading. And for something unrelated... what do you think of lawyers?

Yeah studying is cool. I mean I would rather play but, you gotta do what you have to do. In regards to lawyers. Well I am heading to get a J.D./M.B.A. So I will get a law degree and an M.B.A. but I wil probably be in Mergers and Acquisitions or something like Investment Banking. So I wouldn't be a "real" lawyer. My opinion of lawyers are that it's a profession. I mean they are not used car salesmen. There are ethical lawyers and constitutional lawyers and such. But I have a lawyer joke: Why did they bury a lawyer 35 feet under ground instead of 6 ft when he died? ...... Cause deep down he really is a nice guy. Why do you ask my opinion?

because lately I've been muddling around trying to figure out what I want to do with myself and I was thinking I need a career where I have a certain amount of freedom and self-direction. I seem to do pretty well with wording things very "professionally" and I also seem to be pretty good at deciphering what cryptic law jargon says. So I was considering some sort of law. Hehe, long enough answer?

Well you know what Natalia, I think you would make an excellent lawyer. I think that you are a very well-rounded person. You have so many talents that, even as a lawyer, you would accomplish great things. Whether they are altruistic ones or self-interested ones :). I think you would make one hell of a good lawyer. Honestly you have so many things going for you that you wouldn't be trapped with some of the mundane things in lawyering that burn other people out. (but every career can't be 100% exciting all the time) You certainly have the intellect as well as the mature experience of one in the working world. I really good go on with how much this possible career choice would be a good thing for you. But you will make your own decision. I also can't be praising you too much, then you wouldn't be able to fit your head on that nice new sofa of yours ;P. Natalia you can talk to me anytime if you really want to talk about career choices and the like. I know you probably have alot of people you can go to. But maybe my perspective will be ( ... )
