Awww, I'm glad Hydra will have a nice life somewhere even if it's not with you. I'm sorry I couldn't take her, but my tank has issues right now, and I've got to deal with the algae infestation and keeping the kitten away from the highly entertaining fish before I even consider adding new occupants. :( If I hear from anyone who needs aquarium stuff, I'll be sure to pass them along to you...meanwhile, maybe consider Craigslist?

Thanks for considering but I just couldn't wait any longer for an answer. Plus, you usually have enough to deal with as it is so this is one less thing for you to worry about.

I'll eventually find a new home for the tank setup as well. It's not as imperative since I only have to clean it one more time & it will be quite a while until I've saved enough for a piano.

Well.......you will save 50 gallons of water, have more living room space (eventually)...but you will not have a fish to keep you company.

Oh well. I am not much for words right now, I guess.

When it comes to company I prefer people to fish. If it must come to a pet I'd rather have one I can interact with. Hydra never did like it when I tried to pet her & attempting to get her attention resulted in her trying to swim through the glass or requests for food.
