School today was okay. Nothing much to say on the matter besides general D8ness over the assembly, which will come shortly. First, I just want to mention that most of the anxiety I have at the moment is because of the weekend, not school. I have a drum lesson on Saturday that I haven't practiced for. At all. To be fair, Evan Marshall, the guy who played the Joker, was called the night before the assembly and was asked to play the Joker. So it's understandable that it was kind of poor.
And it was actually Sara Lee that he approached, who's a senior. And apparently, she slapped, which wasn't supposed to happen.

Hah. I knew I recognized that kid.
He did sort of recoil in a just-slapped fashion.
I dunno. It wasn't worse than any other assembly I've been to - the Joker thing was sort of cute, even, I guess - just more memorable. A weird segue into the school year when the day before you'd been in the same costume.
