Hello all! I placed an order with Haus of Gloi yesterday, including one of their Perfume, Made for You custom blends. Have any of you gotten a PMFY blend of your own, and if so, how did it come out? I requested Blood Orange as a top note, Ginger as a middle, and Frankincense and Beeswax and Honey as the base notes. I'm so excited to see what ( Read more... )

I got a very Autumn-y blend of Beeswax Honey, Woodsmoke, Leaf Pile, and White Oak, and it is AWESOME. It also arrived far quicker than I'd thought it would.

Oooo, that does sound lovely. I'm jealous; woodsmoke notes usually turn to acrid yuck on me. X-D

I got a Blueberry Bubblegum Blueberry Marshmallow blend- to me it was perfect- I could smell all the notes and they are all true and lovely! My man on the other hand does not like it and makes faces whenever I wear it! :(

In the summer, I ordered blueberry plus three sweet notes, and the sweetness overpowered the blueberry somewhat. For the autumn, I ordered 2xApple and two sweet notes, and got a lovely sweet Apple scent, very fresh, not too sweet, and not tart at all. (I prefer sweet to tart when it comes to apple anything.) I am still tempted to order some more autumn-inspired blends. :)

I would love a blend with dirt, woodsmoke, vetiver and leather. Thanks for letting me know about this. The perfume is a good price for a custom and shipping is only a few bucks in the US. Good deal.
