ISO facial moisturizer!

Despite the vast collection of fragrance stuff, I am very much Not A Girl - so I don't know where to look for this sort of thing! I have winter-dry skin and need a facial moisturizer, but everything at CVS is a jumble of parabens and other toxic stuff ( Read more... )

Where do you live? Lush has a wonderful selection of natural moisturizers. If you live near a shop, you can try them in person or they have a skin type chart online to help determine which products work best for your skin. The only down side to their products is the self life life, which isn't that long (3-6 months depending on the product), but goes to prove how natural and fresh they are.

I agree with the poster below. Lush is amazing and great for the price. If you don't want to order online, I live right near a lush and could potentially go pick something up. Vanishing cream is fantastic for my winter dry.

DHC's olive oil & Cetaphil are gentle on my ever so dry(but gets oily in the summer) skin.

I found Queen Helene's Shea & mango butter moisturizer cream for $2.50 (it's hella thick) and lasts forever. It's natural and works really well.
