Movie night with Miss M.
Tonight Miss M came over and we had movie night. We sat and chatted for about 45 minutes or so. It was wonderful to catch up with her after what seemed like a very long time. Being with her lifted my spirits again as I hadn't realized how much it was down lately.
The movie we decided to watch? "The Day the Earth Stood Still". A good classic movie but as we noted throughout the movie acting apparently wasn't really a prerequisite back then. :o) Don't get me wrong, it is definitely a good movie for its time. Miss M. tells me a remake is in the works. I'm sure it will be nothing like the original. The acting has got to be better. Keanu Reeves is apparently going to play the alien. "Klaatu barada nikto, dude." It was a lot of fun. I haven't had this much fun in a long time.
