I remain … uncertain … as to how I should respond to
the news which Starfleet Doctor
Mib Khan has given me. Obviously, any impregnation would have occurred when Imperial Doctor
"Not So Nice" Khan subjected Commander
Storvik and myself to
his idea of amusing psychological torture - exposing both of us to TGMR (Trans-Gendering Mutational Retrovirus, I assume) and extendenafil (the pon farr-inducing agent). That a pregnancy occurred, and remained even after the agents wore off and I returned to my standard male form, would be quite fascinating - had it occurred to someone else.
I did not discuss the details of the alleged conception with Starfleet Doctor
Mib Khan, although he can probably surmise that his analog, and mine, were both involved in varied ways. Should the doctor's diagnosis be accurate, and should I not take contrary measures, I shall have to inform
Storvik eventually. I suspect that he shall respond that he already had a sufficiency of problems without acquiring a new one.
My first course of action, since this is a medical issue, is to get a second opinion. Unfortunately,
repairs on the Murgatroid being complete, we have just left Deep Space Nine; so I cannot avail myself of the facilities and personnel there. There is no point in asking one of Khan's clones for a differing opinion. I could ask the EMH, or borrow a medical tricorder from sickbay and verify my … condition … for myself - except that, if this is a "prank" by Doctor
Mib Khan, he will have no doubt made sure that the EMH, and all of the ship's medical tricorders, would confirm his story.
I shall have to consult the ship's computers, and determine how long I shall have to wait before I feel it … kick.
