Paris
Over the next week or so I'm going to post summaries of our time in each city that Dad and I visited in Europe, we went to five cities in total.
First stop,
Paris
Caught the EuroStar there. It was completely packed and not as nice as I remember it from last time I went. Who on earth thought orange and grey was a good colour scheme? And no trolley ( Read more... ) -

I'm in Portsmouth and about to head out to the Mary Rose Museum, I've decided against going on to the Victory and Warrior so this afternoon we'll be driving to Arundel which is apparently very cute with a nice castle and cathedral ( Read more... ) -

I got a job!
It is as an admin assistant here. I'll be helping with the art workshops, selling people books, talking to visitors and doing computer work. I start on the 24th when dad leaves to go back to NZ and I will be there on a six month contract, working 25hrs a week.
I'm a bit nervous because I'll be in a shed in the woods in the middle of ( Read more... ) -

So of course it's Murphy's law that just when I don't want a job, I want to go on holiday, I get four job interviews. A couple of days ago it was WHSmith in Exeter airport, next Tuesday it is Groundworks in Exeter and Waterstones in Taunton and the week after that it is the RSPCA charity shop in Ringwood ( Read more... ) -

I haven't been posting on here lately because being poor and unemployed in depressing but I finally have good news :)
I have found the perfect job! There's just one tiny snag.
It is part of a paid internship programme with the Culture Quarter Programme & the governments future job fund. It's working in conservation and collections at the V&A museum ( Read more... )
