Are.You.Serious ? :))) Yeah. I want to *laugh*. I've seen "Solitaire for Two" and "Passionada", which means I have seen *a lot* worse. And lived.;)
Anyway, I'm glad for Gale Harold that he's making it into the big scene. That is *so* not the "big scene" it's almost funny. Maybe it gives an a little more established impression on your continent, but people here don't even know who the fuck Margaret Cho is.
It says "World Premier" though, it must be shown there too..? Nope.
Well, for that, I'm glad that Germans don't seem to like typical Hollywood romance movies. ^_^ I've seen so many movies like this, they shouldn't make this plot anymore---cuz then they won't be unique, if they're trying to be big.
Germans *love* typical Hollywood romance movies.;) I've seen movies like these a thousand times as well. I've seen thousands of movies that are alike. It's just the way it is. I do not want to watch the movie for the plot. I very hardly ever do. Besides, I did not think they were trying to be *big* with this movie. I think they are very much aware that it's a small insignificant thing. Consume and discard. Nobody will remember. It's just for the moment. And that's okay.
Brian Kinney suddenly turned straight since Justin leftfjona_k88May 28 2006, 12:07:20 UTC
lol! No, I think they were trying to be big. Because, all of these movies with similar plot, are very big. That's why we have many movies like this, cuz the producers know that's what most people like to watch so...Other than that, what's the point in such movie at all? Oh yeah, a lost, confused Chinese girl, falling for a guy from another race (don't forget: love at first sight), and everything getting messed up cuz he doesn't fit in into her culture, and this guy finding her so special--unlike any other girl..Camon, give me a break. Too much drama. Chick flick even. And even Gale looks so different here. He doesn't fit in. It even looks like he doesn't want to be part of this movie. :P I like him as Brian Kinney, damn it! These stupid producers are ruining him. But have you noticed, there's always something the same about him in all of his characters...I don't know what is it...Is it that he's always calm? Or a gentleman...? Or rich..?? I don't know, but there's always something similar.
