This looks so cool, but at the same time I'm quite worried the protagonist would fall into all the pitfalls of the "strong female" archetype, espcially when her character description is "a hotheaded and rebellious teenage girl

I am really looking forward to TLoK, ngl. Like you, I was a little disappointed to hear her character description, but I enjoyed the original series so much, I'm willing to reserve judgment.

Besides, the world looks like just the sort of thing I want right now, and also what you said in re: the fighting and Korra's actually having muscles.

Well, the original Avatar series did brought us some really cool female character, so I'm not going to judge TLoK based on that alone either. I actually have really high hopes for it, but I would say it's more like...cautiously hopeful. We'll see. XD
