Wednesday Art Post: Wait, I Thought Drakon Was a Novel ...

Nov 09, 2011 19:34

Although Drakon isn't really a visual project, I am one of those dreadful hobbyist artists who draws the characters a lot anyway ... so I thought I'd share!

Meet the cast! )

I love having images for them.

Wainwright may actually be my favorite, visually. So many angles.

Not gonna lie, I am really proud of that picture, simple as it is.

Nastya and Liza continue to both be so gorgeous, not to mention the fact that I'm jealous of that hat.

Have you drawn Yelena before? I'm curious about family resemblance and Punnett squares and eeee.

I haven't, because my drawings of women are by and large truly regrettable. However, she's dark-haired, like Liza and Kolya, and her father is the source of that striking hawk nose.

Thank you so much! I worked hard to develop distinctive, repeatable facial structures--it doesn't come naturally to me at all--so it's really wonderful to hear that aspect praised. ^___^
