o1. He can. How much of his thoughts Hades will get and how much will be just fucked up is up to you.
o2. Jason being a regular human, I don't think he'll get more than "something's wrong".
o3. He can say "you have three brothers" (technically it's true, even if Jason doesn't feel like it). Anything having to do with family/Batman will make Jason react badly anyway.
o4. Oh, god of madness? Jason might taste like madness, a little bit. Trolled by a god would be fun :D
I apologize for typos! I can't find my glasses so I can barely see the screen.ignite_the_skyNovember 25 2010, 16:00:26 UTC
o1. Can he read your thoughts? To what extent? (He won't say much about them, if you're worried about that.)
Ichigo: Sure, but don't be surprised if the Hollow makes it difficult. It isn't fond of having people poking around in there without its consent. Dietrich: There's not much to her, but she's fair game! Roy: >:D SURE! It might weird him out a bit, but he's never bothered to go traipsing through his own head before so anything found there might end up being news to him

Spike: In Buffy S3, it's established that vampires are typically immune to mindreading: "It's like the mirror. The thoughts are there but they leave no reflection in you." However I think for a god an exception can be (and probably has been) made. So his mind's probably less accessible than most, but chinks can be gotten through. Mindjacking's always fun. ;-) Especially for Spike, who the more he's confronted with things, the ruder and flippanter he'll get. He's got everything to be ashamed of yet is surprisingly well-adjusted.
Lupin: if the forge in Broadcast season is anything to go by; total open book, man. Go for it. (He's going to start using occlumens to see if that helps…)
o2. What kind of effect will Hades have, spiritual-pressure-wise, so to speak?
Am I right in thinking One Ring as frame of reference? I found myself assuming the most powerful are the most susceptible, but perhaps it's the opposite…
Spike: he's quite used to gods (Glory - Buffy S5; Illyria - Angel S5) and

Isley: Hades is welcome to read Isley's mind, but he'll notice it's rather well guarded. Yazoo: More than likely Yazoo's head will be an open book, but don't expect it to make any sense. Between his own thoughts and random flashes of Jenova, his head's a bit of a static labyrinth.
o2. What kind of effect will Hades have, spiritual-pressure-wise, so to speak?
Isley: More than likely Hades won't have a noticeable effect on Isley, at least, not in so far as outward appearances are concerned. He'll definitely feel the weight of Hades, and he'll without a doubt take interest in him... Yazoo: I'm not really sure how Hades would effect Yazoo, except to say that... Yazoo will probably be quietly awed by him. And miserable about it, to boot. He'll definitely feel the crushing weight, but he's strong willed enough that he might avoid the staggering aftershock... circumstances pending, of course. I'm sure down the road Hades'

1. My general policy on mindreading is "please don't unless you talk to me first." Because most of my characters have heavy secrets and Priscilla is pretty unstable.
2. Errr, well Priscilla and Aizen probably wouldn't be too phased - especially Aizen, whose presence has a pretty similar effect, LOL. But they'd both notice it. Jennifer's will is pretty dodgy depending on whats going on so it might.... vary? If it's dependent on willpower then Mello won't be phased much, since he's got a very strong will, but since he has no energy sensing powers and isn't used to that kind of thing, he'd be fairly freaked out at first?

And when you mention it, Thoth does remind me a bit of Lupin. Huh.

3. TL;DR, just ask if it comes up.
