Sidebar problem in IE

Username of journal: club_bohemian
Layout style: flexible squares
Basic, Paid or Plus: Plus
Problem you are having: The layout works perfectly in Firefox and Google Chrome but the sidebar is pushed over the entries in Internet Explorer. If I remove "position:fixed;" from the sidebar's codes, it stays on the left but the first entry appears below it in all three ( Read more... )

Add "bottom:0; left:0;" to your sidebar css.

The bottom information is important for smaller screen resolutions; without the sidebar content can be cut off.

Thank you for the tip, it works!
I tried both "margin-left" and "padding-left" but had no effect on the layout. I never thought a simple "left" would. I learnt something new again :D
I left "bottom" out because it put the sider on the bottom of the page but it works without that too! :) I use 1280x800 but the sidebar stays in place in 1024x278 and 800x600 az well.
