Actually, that was what his big tour of Europe had been all about. Or a least partly. Because some of it was just touring Europe for the hell of it. And he'd been pretty good

"It's not the full moon," Derek pointed out. Because he was a dick.

"Oh, good," Jackson replied dryly. "You can read a calendar. You must be so proud."

"Done with your pretentious road trip?"

They loved each other so much.

"You need to actually drive around for it to be a road trip," Jackson said with a sigh, as if this should have been obvious and was tedious to explain. "I'm on a break."

On a break from finding himself. Yes.

Stiles shuffled into the kitchen expecting to find Derek and coffee waiting for him. But no. It was Jackson and...well, coffee but coffee he probably wasn't allowed to have.

"What are you doing here?"

Well, as long as he didn't actually ask for the coffee, he'd probably be allowed to take it. Just don't make Jackson acknowledge he was allowing it to happen.

"Answering stupid questions," he replied dryly. Which was somehow supposed to take attention away from the fact that it wasn't a stupid question at all.

"Get bored of Europe or something?"

Jackson scoffed. "No, I'm just making a pit stop to figure out where to go next."
