Room 222, Wednesday Noon

Apr 03, 2013 14:26

Apart from the focus issues, Jackson was still kind of enjoying this week. And that was probably sad, if you considered it more closely, since it stemmed so firmly from his issues with everything that had been going on with him lately. Sure, he still felt like his control was just about to snap, but it was still a better kind of feeling, because at ( Read more... )

Korra's better judgement had apparently fled the building, because instead of doing the sensible thing and finding the nearest ice-floe, she was leaning in Jackson's doorway watching him. "Oh, yeah, I can definitely beat you at that."

"Fine. I will then." And since his stupid smirky mouth was right there, it totally made sense to lean in just that little bit further.

Perfect sense! And Jackson, well, he was one of the least coy people she was likely to meet, so he hesitated exactly not at all in kissing her.

The same thing went for using the hand on her hip to draw her closer to him.

The pulling closer was...unexpected but not unpleasant (and there was no possible way this could end as awkwardly as the last time she tried this) so she kept pushing forward into the kiss.

That whole part where she was kind of competitive might have helped there.

It was more of a positive trait in Jackson's eyes than he was likely to admit. But he still wanted to be the one trying to deepen the kiss, so he did.

Because clearly this was something were winning was the goal, right?

Given that Korra only really had theoretical knowledge of what she was doing and was covering that with aggression, winning was totally the goal. If he was going to deepen the kiss she was just going to let her hands start to wander.

Oh, well, there was nothing wrong with wandering hands. Jackson had nothing to be ashamed of when it came to being under wandering hands.

Of course, he might do the same.

Oh. Under normal circumstances she might have been slightly mortified about that, but right now it was just rather pleasant. Going off instinct rather than anything else, she nipped gently at Jackson's lip.

And that just made Jackson smirk a bit against her lips (because what didn't?) And also get a little more assertive with his own wandering hands. Nothing too bad, just running them down her back.

And a little lower.

This would be where Korra's competitive steak kicked in (again, some more), mimicking Jackson's movement she didn't just let her hands rest there, she squeezed, because, well, wouldn't anyone?

Yeah, why wouldn't they?

Jackson twitched. But with the way that meant pushing his hips against hers, maybe it hadn't been quite as spontaneous as it seemed.

Come now, surely Jackson was as pure as the driven snow? Right?

There was no doubt as to the spontaneity of Korra's reaction though, since if if she'd had time to think about what might have been pressing against her hip instead using a hand to try and figure that out...well, it probably would have managed to be a flaily mood killer even with the pollen.

Jackson was an angel, okay.

Assuming angels felt the need to push against her hand when she did that. And had hardening evidence of impure thoughts for her hand to meet in the first place.

... Okay, maybe he wasn't an angel.

Korra would be shocked to learn that, shocked.

Speaking of learning things, once she'd realised that no, Jackson didn't have anything in his pocket, she slowly and deliberately traced her fingertips over the front of his pants. Quite apart from the pollen, that whole lack of hands-on experience meant she was more than a little curious.

Well, she was quite literally getting hands-on experience! And Jackson, for one, could appreciate that. Even if it was pretty distracting for him. Enough so that he had to finally break lip contact for a ragged breath.

But hey, he could also move one hand up her body and more towards her chest, so. That was something. And also didn't require a lot of thought on his part.

It turned out that Korra was discovering that right now she was rather a fan of both that and the reaction her own explorations were getting from Jackson. Yay, for learning experiences!

Since she was getting that sort from response from just light pressure, she had to wonder what kind she'd get from pressing her hand harder against him.
