Songkran in Bangkok

It was a wet wild time. I ran around with my wet shirt tied around my head as a bandanna, with a bazooka water gun slung behind my back and a medium sized water gun held in my hands. I must confess that I am partial to Abhisit myself. The angmohs can say what they like about Abhisit being elected unfairly and about the lack democracy and whatnot, but I'd take him over Thugsin's unclean brand of democracy. Anyday.

It's very strange to amagine a discontent in Thailand- everything there looked so relaxed and pretty to me.

Perhaps the tention between the traditional way of life and the modern one, makes people un sattisfied... I read about the complains, but it was too complicated to understand it. It seems as if too many personal issues are involved, and groups interests - it's not just trying to benefit the country.

Anyways, spending a couple of weeks in Morocco on April, I can tell you, they too, might have some reasons to show incontent, but they chose to be busy and quiet. People in the third world , don't have it easy.
