Actually, I started reading this fic yesterday, but I had to go to work on second shift and I was almost late and just now I had some time to finish it.

Oh god. This was amazing. I love how you write tennis. it's so...vivid and easy to follow and intense.

I think I loved everything in this, even the vague ending askjdhaksd it gave me chills.

You don't wanna know how much TIME goes into tennis. I know just about jackshit about tennis and the series doesn't teach you much more besides basic rules and physics-defying moves >_> So I always try to dig up whether I'm getting it right. SO yeah, not a natural aptitude *wry*

I love your writing, I love the canon you've created with these two characters, who by their own right, don't have a lot of fleshing out in Konomi's world. You've always created these lovely slow-building-hot burning passionate stories, and in this one, you turn it completely on it's head.

Which is why, I think it's my favorite thing you've ever written. I like that there's a bit of angst, there's pining, there's want not just on Ohtori's part, but Shishido's as well, and that scene in the hallway where they kiss, and there's teeth and desperation and it's not pretty or gentle...it seals this for me.

Thank you for posting this. I'm so uber jealous of namae_nashi by the way, and at the same time, I'm shaking my fist at the two of you for making me ship them.

This is lovely - the guilt and the regret (on both sides) is nearly palpable.

I also got a bit of a Kantoku vibe off of Atobe, which is always a plus.
