New Marvel cartoon The Spectacular Spider-Man in "not shit, actually quite good" shock!

As decent as this episode was, it offered nothing new. We've already had two very similar episodes like this and To the Last Man did little to really stand apart from them. I've finally started to watch the rest of season three of Battlestar Galactica after being stuck on Rapture since... well, since it first aired, he says guiltily. If you haven't watched Pushing Daisies yet, you absolutely must. Easily the best and most original new US show of the year, by an enormous margin. I won't go into the gory details considering it's turned out to be a pretty big hit in the States, but it's utterly fabulous. In order to make the fiendishly dull summer days flit by faster than usual, I purchased the first three seasons of my always-there-in-my-affections-but-sometimes-forgotten-about semi-favourite TV series The X-Files a few days back. Anyone who was around in the 90's remembers The Crystal Maze, right? I dunno whether it was exported to the US and Europe or not, but it's certainly one of the most recognisable British game shows of all time, and quite rightly so.

Kid's TV used to be better when we were kids. This is pretty much A Fact and can't be refuted by anyone, because if they try they'll end up floundering in a sea of fail.
