Is Heroes truly, honestly, genuinely worth catching up with (keeping in mind that I only watched the first six episodes back when it first went out)?

When the last four episodes of my beloved Moonlight run out I'm going to need something else to keep me going alongside SG-1.

The entirety of Heroes season one is fantastic. But it's not worth watching season two or three.

S1 of Heroes is worth it mainly for how amazingly awesome it is, all the references to other scifi fandoms, and for it having Christopher Eccleston in it. S2 started out well, but the writer's strike ruined it. S3 is atm very wtf-inducing, which is good and bad. Good because it ties back in with S1, bad because there really are some insane plots going on. It's a roller coast overall.
