How did I forget about Thomas the Tank Engine? I used to love when George Carlin was Mr. Conductor.

Alas we didn't get Mr. Conductor in the UK, just two episodes back-to-back with Ringo narration. I've seen the added stuff they put in for when it was shown in the US and Canada and thought it was a pretty nifty way of filling things out.

Oh noes. I think once Ringo left the U.S. was all about having Mr. Conductor. The show is still airing new episodes here, and I've heard it's all mostly CGI now, which I think is a bit weird.

I barely remember this show except for Ringo. I am a bit older than you so I think I was too old to appreciate it at the time.

I think Thomas is the main reason why Ringo is my favourite Beatle.

You know I just realized the episodes with Ringo aired from 1984-1986 (and I was only a small child) but I just don't remember seeing the show until I was a little older than that. I do remember Ringo there so it must have been re-runs.
