Just plain wrong.
This is the absolute worst thing the Stargate writers have ever done. Spoilers, but I think getting your rage on is more important - this is terrible.
And I was hugely excited about Universe, too. Needless to say this excitement has diminished.
Update: You'd bloody better.
I'm still going to be watching SGU, but with supreme caution. This has dented my optimism considerably, and while Wright's promise that they will be tackling the ethical issues raised and that the sides released were from an early draft has placated me somewhat, I'm not 100% convinced. I'd honestly like this show to be good, because we're sorely lacking aliens 'n spaceships on our TV screens now, but that won't be enough for me to stick with it if things get bad. I'm not convinced that the writing team are good enough to pull this off, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Hopefully Sabotage won't be the epic fail it could very, very easily be.
