What's in a name?

Dan and I were talking about visiting Europe and he referred to it as, "Jaime and Dan do Europe."

Am I a complete spaz for still getting a little giddy when I hear our names together?

I don't know, I don't want G n' R to reunite, I want a time machine to be invented, so the old guns and roses comes back from the passed, kills modern day botox axl, and tours the country playing tiny bars that only me and my coolest friends know about.

I stand corrected -- I want Bandanna-Axl to seriously maim Botox-Axl and then, kick out the motherfuckin' jams.

I walk a razor-fine line when it comes to Axl Rose.

See, I love the guy and that's exactly why I hate him. I love the fact that he epitomizes the rock star -- abrasive, passionate, poetic and egomaniacal, but it's his monstrous ego that caused the demise of GnR. I hate that and will never forgive him for it. I hate the fact that in my life, I will never ever see Slash and Axl perform together [unless it's like, a cage match to the death or something].

Considering the current state of music, we need Axl back. We need him to peckerslap all these newbie upstarts who think they're good frontmen [I.E.: the assholes from Panic! At The Disco and My Chemical Romance], but I don't think the modern incarnation of Axl could live up to Classic Axl and as a result, new music is bound to suck for all eternity.

Have you ever seen GnR live? I think I'd sell my kidney to see this in person.

Casey and I plan on visiting my family in Colombia in a couple years. He also insists that when we have kids, since I'll be taking his last name, that the kids have Spanish middle names.

He tells me all these things about how important my culture is to him and how important it is for us to keep it around. I never ever thought about how important it was to me until he said it. :)
