Some people view heavan as a Half A Cow showcase gig. My heavan is Candle Records Gigs with the entire label getting up to sing "We Are The World" at the end of the night.

Okay... well Damien Leith is on Carols in the Domain singing Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah... not sure how that song fits into the proceedings. I don't think they looked past the slightly religious name.

I have it on good authority that next week's guest at Bernard will be Gen Maynard. She starts at the time I finish work so by the time I get there she will be over. Poo. Damn Christmas.

I don't get the ARIAS... since when was Bob Evans "Adult Contemporary"? BUT at least Clare Bowditch won so I am very very very pleased with the people who voted. She was a well deserved win and she looked gorgeous.

P.S. Midnight Oil's acceptance speech is exactly why they are sorely missed.

I believe that my lineup for my ultimate "Leaves you walking on air and wanting to hug random strangers" gig is now complete. Opening with The Grates, then with Ben Folds and having The Flaming Lips head lining the show. That would be my absolute ultimate musical experiance, one which I will never experience but hey it's nice to dream...
