I think I've also commented on this story at Teaspoon (as ARoseByAnotherName), but here I am again to say how much I've enjoyed reading this. There are a few lines that are favorites, either because they make me think or because they put puzzle pieces in place. First I like Rose choosing to do what she could to keep brown-suited Doctor from falling. Also, I liked her remembrance of her other self on the beach and her wish to tell her that her tears were still real. These two things make me proud of Rose's strength. And then there is how vulnerable blue-suited doctor is: How she notices his relief when she walks out of the Tardis, and later how she understands for the first time that he will follow her anywhere. This makes me happy because they both openly want and need each other. So all in all, you bring us from dangling in uncertainty at the end of series 4 to a firm foundation where we can see that Rose made a painful but correct choice and we can believe that they're going to be alright together ... or better than alright. Thanks!

hey, long, long time after you've posted, but i just actually found your comment now! anyways, thanks so much for taking the time to review both here and on Teaspoon, it means loads. my original version of the story, which is on teaspoon (and once life is less crazy i will someday finsih!) is really stemming just off the episode and i really retooled it a lot to fit with all our timey-wimey background that rose is up to in this. thanks for your wonderfully specific, detailed comments on *why* you like it and what you think works about it, i so appreciate it ::D glad you enjoy ever was!

I found your story through the children of time nominations and just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying it. I love how you've sorted it so that Rose isn't bitter or hesitant about going back to the other universe, and that you don't feel that either Doctor has gotten the short end of the stick in the situation. I'm looking forward to the rest.

I've had this open in tabs for like forever and finally found the time to read this. I think it was recommended on a Rose/Doctor page?

Anyway, this was wonderful! It had me tear up for the last two parts because you portrayed Rose's feelings so perfectly. Thank you!
