Heh, you have no idea about poor Elle.

This was the update that had me poking it for long days on end and it was why I originally had the entire fic played out in two different ways - and each time, it kept going one way because the other way just didn't work and ended up missing the broader arc getting built in and the other side of Elle's growth, and her history with the Company pre-Claire.

Here's hoping people haven't just been reading for the sex and remember some of my vaguer hints through the earlier, ;-)

And I know, I sort of hated myself for it coming out so short. I tried to rejuggle how this update and the next few fall and it didn't work at all - the good news is, the rest of the updates are definitely on the bigger end of the spectrum so the rest of the fic should make up for this particular update.
