ok, i'm seriously insanely jealous of the way you can write them. it's so complex yet written in such simple words and god, i love it. your elle is so frakked up and human and gorgeous and the way she longs for someone to treat her like another human makes my heart hurt and then there's poor, gorgeous, frakked up claire and all her humanities studies and yet she can't manage to apply anything she's supposedly learning. i really can't wait for more of this!

Dude, it's very true - they both have that ability to pretty much channel any kind of emotion in a fic and they have the needier, darker aspects at their heart that color everything else.

Poor Elle. You manage to convey how confused she is because she doesn't really know what she wants but how depressed she is by knowing whatever it is it's not something she's getting. *sighs* And Claire is even more insane than Elle in this. I hope she comes back to the living soon. Can't wait for more!

Claire is extremely fucked-up right now, and Elle is bearing the brunt of it in a whole lot of ways - which is coming at a horrible time because Elle is trying to figure out who the hell she is.

So, yeah, it's all... messy.

You're talking to someone who thinks writing angst is the funnest thing ever - because the best way to really get into a character is by stabbing them in the metaphorical heart and seeing how they survive it, *g*

But I love them so it does have a reason, I swear.

And I've started to see you as a regular for my Elle fic, which is nice. There's not nearly enough love for my little crazy walking taser in fandom so seeing you makes me :D and do a little dance in my chair like a big old geek.
