I'm trying to NOT let Tolkien and Austen dominate my current repertoire of icons. It's not working. :) (Those two seem to dominate pretty much every aspect of my life . . .)

Also, I am now about halfway through Season 2 of Downton Abbey, and there is just so much to digest! My goodness! I think the only way to get even half my thoughts on the page

I don't know whether Lady Catherine de Bourgh had just as much good nature between her snappish wit than Violet has though!

Anyway, I watched the pilot of Downton Abbey and I didn't like it. It was so slow and boring. :/

They just have this knack for inspiring and enchanting, don't they? :D

Aw, you didn't like Downton? Sorry it wasn't to your taste--there are so many characters, it does take a while to set everything up, though I think they did it splendidly. But I can understand if there just wasn't enough swash swash, buckle buckle for you. ;)

I don't know why I didn't like it! Maybe it was because I watched it with so many great expectations! Someday I'll give it another chance! :D
