I unearthed the unsorted Fellowship of the Ring caps I made and started going through them. Gosh, has this always been this dark and broody? Lol! Haven't gone very far--I'm only up to their meeting Aragorn. Though I have an Arwen icon. Go figure.

^ That totally made me laugh because I just started working with LOTR caps today for this comm tooo. (Because LOTR= the essence of adventure!) and my plan was to make the 25 icons from various caps from all 3 movies+hobbit trailer but I wasn't even halfway through Fellowship of the Ring and already had 11 icons so I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make a double batch lol Those caps are just too awesome (if not a pain in the butt to lighten sometimes) for words!
*cough* I shall stop rambling!!
These are really interesting and I love the coloring! I ADORE 9! Such a pretty coloring! Also really love 6, 21 and 22 :D Great job on the sidequest! (I did LOTR too lol but mine was for the Agility scheme and I had a really hard time with it though I learned a lot) I love the Arwen icon and the "beer" icons hehe

Rambling is good. ♥
Thanks so much for your compliments. I'm just getting back from iconing since I stopped like...I don't know how long ago, lol. I particularly love 9 as well, it's such a "grand" sort of scene! And it's FUN iconing Merry and Pippin, gosh. They're so...fun XD
I actually had a hard time for Bard in the sidequest as well. I mean, I had a hard time with Wizard too, but I didn't really expect that from Bard since majority of my main quest icons always end up Bard, lol.

You're welcome! :) Glad you got back to it :D The whole gang is SO adorable to icon XD
I'm definitely going down a different route for doing the sidequest cause trying to add the color to the image by setting the layer to screen/multiply/etc just did not work as planned lol And mine are either Hero or Agility and the my sidequest was all ~meh~ lol

And yeah it was amazingly rather challenging to achieve the correct hue D: I play around with lighten layers a lot more than screen/etc though, but it can be tricky and can't used for all of the palette/cap combinations.

The sphere thing on his staff...I don't think it's called anything, although the giant sphere thing he has is called the palantir :D
