What was that community that popped up to get VM canceled during S3? This should be their next project. ;)

The casting does look pretty horrific. The guy who's playing Sam is so so so wrong, and you can tell even in the teeny bit they showed of them there is absolutely no charisma there. And he's too big and block-headed. HE IS NO JOHN SIMM, CLEARLY. MEH. And just. Whyyyyyy? American audiences aren't even going to get that he's named Sam TYLER. And that MAKES ME VERY SAD, YES.

US version, I wish I were surprised. WTF. WHY.

I mean. Seriously. I don't get the whole remake-the-same-series-without-accents thing. Why not just... air the British version? Wouldn't that be cheaper? And therefore, more profitable? Although I guess it's a way to get around needing writers. Or directors or producers with ideas of their own.
