YES. Well, um. The show's not like, centred around the gay Scottish boys, but there was definitely a subplot which I verily enjoyed. I'm flying into SFO on 15 March, so you know. Do you have lots of school-related things that week?

I am TOTES up for meeting in Berkeley. Also, are you doing anything for St. Patrick's day?

To be perfectly honest, I am not a fan of Noel's new hair. I guess I would have to see it from a few more angles before I make up my mind definitively, but yeah. Don't like it.

Every time I see Sid's dad I automatically think of The Thick of It and I wonder what he's doing NOT ranting about the government and swearing his head off in a thick Glaswegan accent.

Hey! You're missing Andrew Bird!
...Now that I've got that out of my system, $89, are you serious?! I'm planning on seeing Flight of the Conchords (and hopefully Beirut, if they are scheduled on the same day, and whoever else) at Sasquatch this year and those tickets are only $56.50 a day. What a bargain.

It's funny in that post most people were loving the first picture, but it's the second picture I love. It's because he looks kind of elfin, whereas the first one just looks crazy. So I don't know. I think like you said, a few more angles are needed. And maybe a picture when he's not sweaty and all mussed.

However. I have not seen The Thick of It, though I've meant to! Hopefully someday I'll have actual internet.

I know, I know. Doctor Stringz will shun me forever! I just...CAN'T miss Animal Collective. And the reason I'm willing to do the $89 is because it's the ONLY dates Radiohead are playing the NYC area. So I HAVE to. And I mean, I've paid more than $56.60 to see ONE band (with openers, natch), and I'll hopefully be able to see all the bands I want on that day, and hopefully for the amount of bands I'll see it'll make up for it.

Still have to beg my parents for a birthday-related contribution, though. *g*

OMG, I was totally crying like a little girl watching the club scene. It was one of the most perfect things I have ever seen. LOVE!

Skipping The New Pornographers? Oh, you. :p

I KNOW! It was just pure genius. And I feel bad because I totally laughed at them using Takk... and then Untitled 1 as the music of Sid's Dad's Death. It's like, they've used Grizzly Bear for Tony's emo-ing, and Sigur Rós for SDD. Bands as themes!

I KNOW I AM A HORRIBLE PERSON. Honestly the 8th is the better lineup for me, I just CAN'T miss Animal Collective. Watch, though, AC will end up playing another show in NY this summer, and I'll punch myself in the face for buying tix for the 9th

YOU MUST GO! No matter the cost! Because really, $90 is cheap for that line-up.

That's what I say. I'll be seeing so many bands that it'll be worth it. Plus, I'll hate myself if I don't go. :)

AHA! Yes I am back in new york. Back again, actually, I just went back to sf for spring break but I am here to stay. For quite a while, actually.

You and me and winter_baby need to have another get-together, and soon! I say we watch something with James McAvoy again. *g* Man, I can't believe that 'Children of Dune' marathon was over a YEAR ago. Weird.
