but we cannot cling to the old dreams anymore

I've been bidding on oldskool Wayfarer Ray Ban sunglasses on eBay for the past month to no avail. I commandeered Dadmac's a few years back, but then Sismac got a hold of them and now they are nowhere. Such is life. But every time I seem to find one that's decently priced, some fucker bumps it up to 60 bucks or more and I headdesk and start ( Read more... )

I have $10 sunglasses from Target. They are actually my second pair of $10 Target sunglasses. I threw the first pair away when the rhinestones around the edges started to fall off. I'm thinking about getting ones shaped like hearts.

I've only watched the first series of Life on Mars and 2x01. I presently lack the attention span to continue. When will I get it back? Probably after design exhibit but before graduation. (I've managed to stay unspoiled though! What an amazing feat!)

I love your BJ and Mindy imaginary backstory. They looked like they were having a lot of fun with each other in this episode.

Since I heard rumors about Mindy and BJ breaking up I've had such a hard time reading their interactions on the show. I mean, I get the feeling they actually like each other IRL, but I can't figure out what, if anything, their scripts are trying to do. Because sometimes it can read kinda passive-aggressive, but it may just be affection. I don't know, it's weird.

You do know that there are 25 episodes this season, right? So the big happening shouldn't be for four more weeks (the finale is a one-hour episode).

God the moment of Zen! I thought I was going to stop crying, and then Jon Stewart made me cry again. And then Colbert made a Welcome to the Monkey House reference, because clearly it would be weird for him to break character and make some sort of tribute but you know he wanted to anyway, and then I really lost it again. :p

Also, HEE! I *love* your Mindy/BJ backstory. As far as I'm concerned, that is totally true and no one's going to make me believe otherwise.
