Um, so. I just finished watching BSG's Lay Down Your Burdens Parts 1&2, and now that my mind is blown to pieces I have to go write my Tom Stoppard paper. To be emailed to my professor before midnight tonight. EST. [A rewatch is in order, YES INDEED OMGWTF

I would suggest registering your domain on your own through godaddy.com or another site -- it's about $8/yr at godaddy and you're in control of it.

Then for hosting, I would check out tylergrrls's hosting plans. They're not as shiny as some of the more expensive ones, but if you just need some space, it works.
