you must tell me all about this film because I was originally going to see it but then decided to pass in favor of House of Flying Daggers. Cause...Takeshi Kaneshiro? BEAUTIFUL.

it was a good movie - though the audience were a bunch of asshats. Takeshi is lovely and I must rewatch Chungking Express and get my hands on the Returner.

It's so amazing to see him on a big screen.

That's it. I'm moving to NY. I don't care what my parents say. I can't stand having to wait to see movies like this! GAH! (Not to mention the fact that there is no where around here where there would be even a CHANCE of seeing the play.)

Thanks for the initial review. I'm really anxious to see this film. I LOVE Clive!

They messed up the ending??? BUT THE ENDING IS CRUCIAL. The ending is when everything comes together in a beautiful tangle of mistakes and emptiness. Alice!

Grrrr. But...well, it doesn't surprise me that Clive rocks the house and...if Marber allowed the changes I guess I can, um, no. It's still Sideways tomorrow for me. But Jude!Law!Shadow!Crotch! is tempting...

(but, um, spoil me to the ending in my own LJ or via email or some such! teehee!)

Gah. Really, really want to see this movie. And they play bit of "Cold Water" throughout? Odd. Of course, it's a good gimick for Damien - they played "Cold Water" on the radio this morning and it made me think of the trailer.
