I just checked in on Dadmac's many-gigabyted-computer to check on the Angel Season 1 DVD torrent that's downloading. [Yeah, I still haven't bought them. I am a bad, bad fan.]

I saw another torrent going, called 'Something Beautiful'. I asked Mei Mei what it was, and she said it was "some Ryan and Seth song thing."

My thirteen-year-old sister is ( Read more... )

Dude. Their love IS so pure...though we've been needing some more quality Seth/Ryan time lately.

I had no idea how much my sister rocks. It's great! *g*

I asked Mei Mei what it was...

I've been calling my younger brother Mei Mei, just so I can fit in Firefly talk into my vocabulary... It'll be sad, the day he finds out what it means.

hmm.. well, you could always call him "Di Di," which is proper Mandarin for "Little Brother." :)

Oooh...so what is 'older sister'? Is it jie jie or jei jei or something different altogether?

Can you tell I'm replying to all my old comments? ;)

I'm a bit behindon comments, too ^_^*

Older sister can be jie [pronounced sort of like "gee-yeah" slurred] or jie jie. If it's the eldest sister, you can use da jie ["dah gee-yeah"]

And in case...

Older brother is ge ["guh"], ge ge eldest brother would be da ge ["dah guh"]

There's a whole headache-inducing subset of titles for wife's/husband's siblings as well...

As long as there's a record deal, we'll always be frieeeeends!

I bow my head in shame at your downloading of season 1 of Angel. I mean...COME ON man. Even I bought that. And I'm poor. ;)

You are CORRUPTING your sister. That's awful! ;)

Our threads will take over the world.

YES! I told you.

And ohmygoodness. Post the JuliMon! Post it! ::dies with waiting::

Yeah, well. Okay. I have no money. Need a job desperately. But I'm applying for a position at Whole Foods next week, so, yah. Then I will buy clothes! And CDs! And DVDs! Yehaww!

And dude, my sister is corrupting ME. I don't say anything in front of her. She does all this herself.

Circle of spam is teh roxx0r!

Perchance I shall post the Juli, mon tonight! Kinda forgot about it. Oops.

Post the Juli, mon or DIE. BItCh. ;)

Yay! Jobs are fun! [/sarcasm] But it will be SO good to be able to buy CDs, DVDs, etc. I've actually been buying them already, even though I should really be paying my parents for my car. Heh, heh.

Also, random since you...might care: I've been hostessing mostly evenings at my job, and the other day I had to work at lunch time and holy crap! It was so scary. This place is definitely a LUNCH place. I had to put like 20 people on a waiting list. I was frightened.

Hey, I posted, I posted. It's ironic though, I kept waiting for some more inspiration to strike so I could add more to it, but it never did. I really like it how I left it, though.

Yeah...might want to pay them back for that. *g* I do understand the lure of CDs and DVDs. Those are the entirety of what I buy. Clothes? Well, yes, that too. Okay. Well, mostly what I buy.

Hostessing at lunch is SKEERY. I have friends who do that. I would get so flustered and either yell at the patrons or start throwing things. ;)

There's you and then there's me who is so weak and owns the DVDs for almost every season of Buffy and Angel. My bank account weeps.

riddering, I stayed up late reading A Stitch In Time last night. Still not done, but oh. my. god. I am eternally indebted to you for introducing me to this.

Eeee! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Does this mean it won't be hard to convince you to read two more of her stories that I love?

Your sister's dabbles in fandom crack me up. But not as much as Juli, mon! cracks me up. That name is even better than Sarkmon, which sounds like a Pokemon character. (I still insist that Julia was a naughty girl. Not only did she have lots and lots of sex with Simon but the Covenant man in the first episode of this season seemed pretty friendly with her too. I wish the show hadn't dropped that.)

::whispers:: I like your icon.

My lack of money cries crocodile tears at your bank account.

And nope, it won't be hard. Remember, I loved Yahtzee even before this! But first, I have to finish A Stitch In Time. Kinda got sidetracked.

My sister's dabbles in fandom amuse me as well. I swear, I will come home some day and she will be posting in an LJ. Juli, mon! is the best melded character-ship name ever. Because it's kinda mocking, and Jamaican! And dude, Julia was SO a naughty girl. But dumbass JJ Abrams must keep her the perfect clean agent girl. Gah. My only hope hinges on the fact of the 'seventeen' line in...um, that episode earlier this season. When Jack shoots Simon. ::sniffle::

Of course you love this icon! It's Jayne being tactless!

I remember that seventeen line. I had it in my head for days afterward in a sort of momba-style tune. Even if it isn't dealt with on the show, I have a whole fanwank about Syd boxing up how wild she got with Simon and how she never could be that way with Vaughn. 'Cause they were all about the missionary position. *g*

The Circle of Spam sometimes confuses me. Timelines become blurred and I forget what we've already said. *pats head*

That seventeen line is what makes me keep faith in the show. THAT and the fact that Irina's name was on that box. ::crosses fingers for Spymommy::

The circle of spam has confused me to the point of repeating the same thing in the reply I said in the original comment. Yeah. But at least now I'm almost all caught up! Whee!
