Because a bum peed on it.

I'm sorry, I say that to EVERYONE. I couldn't resist.

S.F. Mayor Defiant, Marries Gay Couples

w00t, I say. w00t. But Diane Feinstein and Barbara Boxer? Suck it. Figuratively speaking.

Why is it LA and S.F.? Not L.A. and SF?

GIP, and REPRESENT.

And somefairytale? I used the 'Where's the Love' line on my sister. Hah ( Read more... )

Hee! Yeah I spent the journey making snide comments on their songs. Cause they have songs with the word 'retarded' in it and I couldn't not say something.

Isn't that the one they had on the OC? Something like, 'get retarded, get retarded...'

And I hear that and slowly back away. Smile and nod.

Hey, you're fully entitled to be a musical elitist bitch. It's like a requirement, nowadays. Spoken by another M.E.B. ;)

They did have it on the OC! I was like "Oh God I've heard this before."

Being elitist is fun.

It's also really ironic how much of my music selection lately has also coincidentally been played on the OC. It's not my fault! ;)

I think the friggin' mayor of S.F. should run for pres. I love this man. I know nothing about him, but I love him.

Dude! I know. I don't technically live in SF [across the Golden Gate] so I didn't even know he was in office yet. All I knew was that a new mayor was being elected in November...but then I forgot, until all this ruckus started up. And the more I've read about him, the more I want to have his children. He's Irish Catholic, married with two kids. He's had this planned even before he was elected. He's quite liberal [well, I think that's a *requirement* to be a Bay Area mayor] and...other stuff that I can't remember. But I heart him!

Oh no. Ent Weekly is like...my Bible. Whenever it comes, I stop whatever I'm doing and read it.

You are not alone. ;)

Heh. The funny thing is that I actually thought this one was an old issue, sent out by mistake. Cos it's the same picture of Viggo that they used for the LotR cover. Except bigger, and without Frodo.

Oh My God. I can't believe I didn't notice that Theresa was Navi Rawat! That's crazy! She just looks completely different on the two shows. I'm stunned.

Also, I heart your icon.

The more embarrassing part was that I was watching it with a RL friend when I realized it, and I started freaking out and showed her the beginning of Damage and she was really grossed out and questioned my sanity. Trying to defend my enjoyment of murder my bone saw didn't work.

And hee. Glad you enjoy the icon. I tried to add 'foggy' and 'bum-infested' to it, but that didn't work either. ;)

I think "gay hippie city" works quite well. :)

And hee! RL friends are always puzzled at my enjoyment of these shows. Then, again I'm generally puzzled as to why they *don't* like them. Stupid friends! ;)

I think it's pretty cool what california is doing but isn't there something about the legitamacy being questioned? I don't understand why people are so damned..set on this whole anti-gay thing. It's really kind of childish ;\

Oh and, be defiant, use SF *nod*

Yeah, the sad thing is that in 2000, I believe it was, our state overwhelmingly voted for a law that defined marriage as between a man and a woman. So not all of California is this cool. And in terms of legitimacy, I'm not *exactly* sure what you're referring to, but the city of San Francisco is suing the State of California for having a law which is unconstitutional. So the marriages, which are *technically* illegal now, can be made legal if the case wins.

I'll use SF from now on. ;)
