I watched that trailer and then forced my mom (the only person around) to come watch it too. Now she's odded out because "That guy who plays Gollum scares me". *sigh* Hey, it's not my fault I have a crush on (almost) everyone in those movies!

I thoroughly rec an Alias marathon. I flew through S1 (which I'd never seen before) in 3 days, and then broke down and bought the S2 DVDs so I could watch the first 12 eps (also unseen by me.) I needed to see more Lena Olin.

About the LotR commentary, which do you rec listening to? I have both EE, but I've never listened to the commentaries. From what you and others have said about them, they seound hilarious.

I have only seen the first two eps [Truth Be Told and So it Begins] of S1, and my d/l of ep 3 [Parity] is stuck at 96%, has been for DAYS. I think I've seen most of S2, but there's one or two I haven't and it's driving me insane. I HAVE to know what happens in ep 6 [Salvation, which I am downloading], how they get Irina back from the possible death penalty. I started watching ALIAS with 2.15 [A Free Agent], and I tried to catch up during hiatus reruns, which was disastrous. They played random S2 eps so at least 3 cliffhangers are STILL unresolved for me.

So, after that rambly comment, I'll just say: Yes. I MUST find a way to rent the ALIAS DVDs. ;)

And regarding the LotR commentaries, watch the FotR cast one then the TT one. I haven't watched any of the others. Yet.
