This sounds so amazing. I don't know that I could ever do it, as I'm kind of a homebody, but man do I wish I had the temperament and means to.

As you plan your worldwide exploration, I thought I'd toss in that in the just released issue of Money Magazine there's an article on cheap countries for traveling, based on each country's value of their currency as compared to the US dollar. The magazine suggests traveling to Iceland, South Africa, Great Britain and Mexico in order to get your best value for the US dollar.

I just started subscribing (I mean, $10 for a year? Cheap!) and I like it. No nonsense, no "get rich quick," just the facts.

I used to subscribe. One word of caution about their subscription department: when it came time to renew, I did and nothing happened. They took my money, literally. I tried getting in contact with them twice and finally gave up. It could have been a fluke though. I loved getting it every month!

They have a lot of great info, and I love the charts each month on best savings rates, best funds, etc. Also lots of info dealing with current climate, and very quick with it too. You're right, very no nonsense.
