They've been trained on the leash since they were tiny apparently. I wouldn't say that I took them for a walk, more like they took me. One likes to walk around a lot, and the other one just sort of chills and doesn't go far. We walked them late at night one time, and they were really into it. That time I got one of them to run alongside me on the leash. It was hilarious.
There's another lady who I see in Santa Monica that has a cat on a leash, and she seems to be really "walking" it.
