Potty-training

We started potty training the boy last Saturday. It did not go well. Much laundry was done. Many big boy pants gave the ULTIMATE sacrifice before being laundered. And I seem to recall that the floor got peed on once too. All in all, not an encouraging start

potty training boys is esier than girls from my personal experience lol! When I was training my son years ago, I would get one of those walmart boxes of cheerioes, you know, the generic $2 bag. When he went to go potty like a big boy, I would let him put three cheerios in the toilet bowl to "sink" them. He got such a kick out of it the potty training went fairly fast! After about of month getting him into the habit of going in the toilet, we were able to ditch the cheerios lol!

Potty training sucks. Eleanor has been working on it for a few months now. We do stickers for peeing in the potty, which she's pretty good at. She still sleeps in a pull-up (which we're lucky if she's still wearing when she wakes up). Her most favorite thing in the world is M&M's, so that's what she gets for #2. Yayyyyyyyyy! Let's get the m's!!! Don't you love how we can have entire conversations about poop?

BTW, Ikea rocks my socks.
