Just cuz some 'anonymous' voice says 'sell the baby for a cool ten bucks', you automatically point the finger at me? Maybe it WASN'T me; maybe I don't read your stupid journal. Maybe THIS isn't me, either! Jerk!

evan, tell jacquai (?) that i said hi and that i hope everything's going well with her body and the process that she's in. and when you say it, make sure you're holding a clipboard while wearing a white smock, some buddy holly glasses and holding a pen. no, but seriously let her know i'm thinking of her.

not only is she pregnant, she's six months pregnant.
she went away on a big long vacation and a few days ago i was like "where the hell is jacqui?" so i called her and it turns out she's been here for a month. i was kind of pissed that she hadn't even called me since she'd been back, but then she's like "i'm six months pregnant." and i was like "whaaaat" and then she was like "you're gonna be like uncle evan". i can't wait to hold it! i never thought anyone i knew would ever be pregnant!

it's a pretty amazing thing. makes me sort of stop and stand in awe of that whole process for awhile.

we've been discussing birth and pregnancy in my women's literature class... i have some stuff you can read if you like.

it is amazing! when i was hanging out with her yesterday it was hard not to just grab her sometimes and say "jacqui, theres a little person in your tummy right now. it's growing inside of you. and it's going to be a teenager one day."
also we saw the corpse bride and it was just ok.
