Old Fic: First Coffee of the Day (Clark/Lex)

I am going to be posting some old fic that I wrote years ago in this lj just so all my fic is in one place. So, please, feel free to totally ignore these posts. Just so you know, it's all Smallville fic. This one is from 2003. I'm also editing these old fics, so if have some sort of machine-like memory you might notice some changes

Whoa! This was all kinds of awesome. Is it too much to hope for that the rest of the old fic you'll be posting is Clex (well, if it's Smallville I assume it's Clex, lol)? Because that would be even more kinds of awesome. Clex used to be too tragic for me, but between stories like this and finally discovering Birthright, it's really starting to nibble at me.

This was just fantastic, though. I love the sense of humor running throughout this, Clark's disgruntledness, his constant, thwarted attempts to get coffee (which I can totally sympathize with! Ahh!). I don't think I've ever seen disgruntled Clark, but I've not decided that I love him. It's just ... not how I usually think of Clark, but it works so well the way you write him here. And of course Clark would have crappy days where he's just annoyed with everything. He's only ... well, not human, but you get the idea. :)

Was supposed to be:

"I don't think I've ever seen disgruntled Clark, but I've now decided that I love him."

Had to fix that, because otherwise it would have sounded like ... the opposite of what I meant, lol. Yes, I like disgruntled Clark. *g*
